The Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center is located in East St. Louis and serves the youth and families of the surrounding towns of Alroton, Brooklyn, Centreville and Washington Park. Some of the programs offered at the Center are private tutoring, academic enrichment program, ACT/SAT preparation, a reading program, dance, arts and crafts, homework help and finance training. There is also tackle football instruction for youth that is affiliated with the Tri-County Junior Football Conference.
Amenities: a Wellness Center, 1,200 seat gymnasium, a Fitness Center, Dance Studio, 2 football fields, 2 Softball Fields, 2 Baseball Fields, a music room and a Science Lab. The Center can be rented to host special events.
